SPEAKERS INTRODUCTION

Nahela Morales is the co-founder of Embrace, a passionate public speaker, and a dedicated activist. She is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity in Islamic Chaplaincy at Bayan.

Mars El Brogy is an award-winning broadcaster, journalist and multimedia executive with a proven track record of leading teams at the BBC, BBC Worldwide, Evening Standard and The Independent. She is a passionate advocate for media diversity through her work with the Royal Television Society Futures and ITV Anglia Diversity Panel.

A. M. DASSU is a former World Book Day author and internationally acclaimed author of 14 children’s books which have collectively been listed for over 55 awards, including the Carnegie Medal, Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and Jane Addams Peace Book Award

Petra Alsoofy is the Senior Outreach and Partnerships Manager at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU). Petra’s work at ISPU includes strengthening valued partnerships and creating new ones, ensuring ISPU’s research reaches the public and critical stakeholders such as policymakers, community and interfaith leaders, media professionals, and educators.

Known as the First Lady of Modest Fashion, Rabia Z is an award-winning fashion entrepreneur & sustainable designer, pioneering Modest Fashion globally in a $402B industry. A thought leader and speaker, she inspires women globally, with her brand thriving in 80+ countries.

MonaLesa Brackett, Miss New Hampshire USA 2025, is an American pageantry history maker.
She is the first Muslim Hijabi state titleholder and the first to compete at Miss USA, where she proudly placed in the Top 16 at Miss USA 2025.

Sultana Tafadar KC is a leading King’s Counsel with a distinguished practice in complex criminal law, human rights, and strategic litigation. Known for her precision in cross-examination and courtroom advocacy, she is regularly instructed in high-stakes and sensitive matters. She is also the first hijab-wearing criminal barrister appointed KC in the UK — a position that informs her wider work on leadership, inclusion, and justice.

Madinah Wilson-Anton, the first Muslim elected to Delaware’s State House at 26, brings her unique perspective as a Black woman with vitiligo to both politics and comedy. A rising star since 2020, she’s entertained audiences nationwide with stand-up while championing progressive leadership at home.
