]]>On January 31, 2025, the Colorado State Senate passed Resolution No. 25-004, officially designating February 1, 2025, as World Hijab Day in the State of Colorado. This milestone reflects a commitment to religious freedom, inclusion, and women’s empowerment. It was made possible through the dedicated leadership of Senator Iman Jodeh, whose unwavering support for the rights of Muslim women and religious expression is truly commendable.

Nazma Khan, founder and CEO of the  World Hijab Day Organization, welcomed the resolution, stating, “This recognition is a powerful step toward fostering understanding and solidarity with Muslim women in Colorado and beyond.
